About Me

I specialize in supporting clients who struggle with eating disorders, disordered eating, and mood disorders. I’m a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Supervisor through the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals. I’m committed to a non-diet approach and inclusive care.

I was born and raised in New England. I earned my degree in Nutritional Science from the University of New Hampshire in 2008 and completed my dietetic internship there the following year. In 2010, I moved to Chicago, where I’ve worked at all levels of care in the treatment of eating and mood disorders. I held a Nutrition Program Directorship at a premier behavioral health center, providing direct client care while also helping to develop and manage programs at the residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels of care.

Several years ago, I transitioned to working in an outpatient setting, where I’ve been able to focus on providing individual nutrition counseling and leading support groups.

In my free time, I like to visit the lakefront with my dog, Ginger, who often joins me for my virtual sessions with clients, quietly sleeping (or not-so-quietly snoring) in the background. I feel most at peace in nature. This is reflected in the pictures I’ve taken and shared with you across this site. I also enjoy crafting, especially knitting, sewing, beading, and embroidery. You may also find me reading historical fiction or listening to anti-diet podcasts.
